Air Fryer Water Cake :lovely light and fluffy

This Super Easy Air Fryer Water Cake is a fluffy pantry cake that is easy to make and irresistible.

Eggless and lactose-free, it is an easy-to-make, light and fluffy cake, made mouthwatering by the presence of dark chocolate chips (which you can also not put in for an even lighter version), and is perfect for breakfast, snack or even as an end to a meal; it is made in minutes and bakes in only half an hour.

Ingredients:

  • 250g / 2 cups all-purpose flour (plain flour)
  • 130g / 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 10g / 2 tsp baking powder
  • 250ml / 1 cup water
  • 40ml / 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 5ml / 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 50g / 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips
  • Powdered sugar (icing sugar) for dusting

How to make Air Fryer Water Cake:

  1. Put the water, seed oil and vanilla extract in a bowl and mix them with a whisk.
  2. Add, without stopping stirring, the sugar, flour and baking powder.
  3. When you have obtained a smooth mixture without lumps, add the dark chocolate chips and pour it into a greased and floured cake pan suitable for the air fryer.
  4. Place the cake pan in the fryer basket and bake the cake at 160°C  (320°F) for half an hour.
  5. Take it out of the oven and let it cool completely in the cake pan before transferring the air fryer water cake to a serving platter or tray and top it off with a dusting of powdered sugar.
