Here at home we all love this delicious Pineapple Cake, which takes no work at all to make and is really fluffy, moist and tastes fantastic.
Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 300g (1½ cups) granulated sugar
- 300g (2⅓ cups) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 can (20 oz / 567g) pineapple chunks, drained
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
How to make delicious Pineapple Cake :
- Beat the eggs as you would for an omelette.
- Add the sugar and then the sifted flour and yeast.
- Add the oil and a little of the sauce from the can of pineapple.
- Grease a pan with icing sugar and arrange the pineapple slices in it.
- Pour the mixture into the tin and bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC (350°F) for 30 minutes.
- Leave to cool and unmold.
