- 1 sheet puff pastry (320g / 14 oz)
- 3 medium potatoes
- Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 spring onion / green onion
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh rosemary, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 150g (5.3 oz) smoked salmon
- 100g (3.5 oz) smoked provola or mozzarella cheese, drained
- Fresh fennel fronds, to taste
How to prepare impressive Salmon Tartlets:
- To make this tasty little recipe, start by peeling the potatoes and cutting them into cubes. In a skillet, add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and sauté the potatoes over medium heat for about 15 minutes, or until soft.
- Add salt, pepper, a chopped spring onion, and rosemary while cooking.
- Meanwhile, unroll the puff pastry roll and cut out disks of a size suitable for your tartlets.
- Fill each tartlet with the previously prepared potato mixture, also adding some diced smoked provolone and a slice of smoked salmon.
