This dessert recipe is a mouthwatering no-bake cake that is quick and easy to prepare, delicate and irresistible.
A quick and easy-to-make cream filling, with just a few ingredients and mouthwatering, just a few minutes’ procedure and just one hour’s resting time in the freezer for a cold cake perfect as an end-of-meal or snack.

Ingredients :

  • 135g (4.8 oz) Italian-style sponge fingers or ladyfingers
  • 250g (8.8 oz) mascarpone cheese
  • 250ml (1 cup) double cream  / heavy whipping cream
  • 50g (1/2 cup) icing sugar / powdered sugar
  • Milk for dipping

Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl, whip the mascarpone with the powdered sugar.
  2. Add the well-cold refrigerated fresh liquid cream in a low stream, without stopping whipping the mixture with electric whips until it takes on a thick, smooth consistency.
  3. Line a 23 x 18 cm rectangular baking pan with clingfilm.
  4. Create a layer of pavesini on the bottom by quickly soaking them in milk and also arrange a row of ladyfingers along the edges of the baking dish.
  5. Pour the prepared cream inside the shell created by the ladyfingers and level it.
  6. Cover the cream with a new layer of ladyfingers soaked in milk.
  7. Close the cake with plastic wrap and let it rest in the freezer for at least an hour.
  8. Transfer it to a tray or serving dish, removing the food wrap, and serve your ladyfingers paradise cake.
