For all the almond loversSoft, fluffy and fragrant Orange Chocolate Bundt Cake. Those of you who have been following me for a while will already know my passion for cakes with oranges. Soft, delicious and, above all, very fragrant. Just make sure you choose untreated oranges so that you can add the grated zest to the batter as well as the juice.
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 110g (1/2 cup) sugar
- 2 unwaxed oranges (juice and zest)
- 180g (1 1/2 cups) all-purpose flour

- In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar with an electric mixer for 6-7 minutes until pale and fluffy.
- Add the orange juice, zest, and melted butter. Mix well.
- Sift in the flour and baking powder. Fold gently to combine.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before turning it out onto a serving plate.
- Dust with powdered sugar if desired before serving.
