Prosciutto and Provola Puff Pastry Half-Moons

Prosciutto and Provola Puff Pastry Half-Moons Recipe are the perfect choice to delight your guests’ palates, the perfect quick and easy party appetizer.

This recipe is incredibly easy and quick to prepare, making it ideal for when you need a last-minute appetizer. In just 20 minutes, you can serve these delicious, steaming crescents of prosciutto and provolone puff pastry.

Ingredients :

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 50g (1.75 oz) cooked ham, finely chopped
  • 60g (2 oz) provola cheese, grated or finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

How to make Prosciutto and Provola Puff Pastry Half-Moons:

  1. Remove the puff pastry from the refrigerator 10 minutes before using it and arrange it on the work surface.
  2. Cut it out with a 7-cm shape, stuff the circles with a piece of provolone and a piece of prosciutto then close in half and seal the edges.
  3. Brush with a little milk or water and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  4. Place the crescents on the oven tray or in the air fryer and bake in the hot oven at 180° for 10 to 12 minutes.
  5. In the air fryer cook at 190°C (375°F) and turn them over halfway through to cook well underneath as well.
