Ingredients :
- 250g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
- 120g (½ cup) unsalted butter
- 150g (¾ cup) brown sugar
- 50g (¼ cup) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Red food coloring (2-3 drops)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 150g (¾ cup) chocolate chips
- 200g (⅔ cup) Nutella, for filling
- Powdered sugar (icing sugar), for dusting
How to make Red Velvet Nutella Cookies:
- To make these wonderful cookies, start by pouring the flour, baking powder and red food coloring into a bowl.
- In another bowl, process the softened butter with the brown sugar and sugar until creamy. Add the egg, vanillin and milk to the butter-sugar mixture and mix again, incorporating the dry ingredients a little at a time, kneading until it forms a smooth dough.
- Add the chocolate chips to the dough and mix gently, then cover with plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Take the dough from the refrigerator and form similar-sized balls, placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- With the back of a spoon, create a small hollow in each ball of dough and fill each hollow with a teaspoon of Nutella. Close the dough and reform the balls. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 12 to 15 minutes, or until they are golden brown on the edges.
- Then take them out of the oven and dip them in powdered sugar and while still warm and let them cool completely on the baking sheet. Finally, the cookies will be ready to enjoy!
Enjoy!
