Ingredients :
- 2 eggs
- 100g (1/2 cup) granulated sugar
- 100g (7 tablespoons) unsalted butter, softened
- 350g (2 3/4 cups) all-purpose flour
- 16g (4 teaspoons) baking powder
- 2 medium apples, peeled and grated
- Powdered sugar for dusting (icing sugar)
- Ground cinnamon for sprinkling
- Optional: 75g (1/2 cup) raisins or chocolate chips
How to Prepare Delicate Apple Pastries:
- Prepare the dough: In a bowl, whisk 2 eggs with 100g granulated sugar and a pinch of salt until foamy. Add 100 g soft butter and mix well.
- Gradually add the flour and baking powder you have sifted beforehand. Mix to a thick dough. If necessary, add raisins or chocolate chips.
- Preparation of apples: Peel the apples, cut them into small pieces and stir them into the batter.
